What is it?
Hydra for laboratory is an innovative device designed for food processing. It is able to analyze the quality of any type of raw materials (soy, beans, legumes, seeds, oat, algae, barley, coffee, tomatoes, etc.) and the status of production processes, identifying differences and wrong settings. Hydra for laboratory can be seen as a smart eye able to:
- produce important information related to the quality of the raw materials and the status of the production process;
- inspect the composition of food and beverages by identifying proteins and other parameters;
- validate in real time the quality of the product on each step of the plant’s process.
It is a masterpiece of spectrometry and Industry 4.0.
Hydra for laboratory is an IoT, machine-learning device which uses artificial vision and artificial intelligence. It is possible to totally control Hydra’s hardware by software in exposure, light intensity, comparison function, number of points, etc. The customer is able to build himself the most suitable spectral analysis for his production process.
A part of Hydra for laboratory is 3D printed, so the customer can print his own parts to replace them, to increase the precision or to create a diffraction mask for LAV, MAV, and SAV.
Raw materials - for laboratories
With Hydra, it is possible to carry out a real time analysis of the raw materials before being processed in the production plant. This allows the plant to discard the raw materials that do not respect the requirements, consenting the plant to avoid the contamination of other batches of food. For example, Hydra could analyze the parameters of food in bio, gluten and lactose free plants both before and after, in order to grant a 100% pure final product. This eventually results in a money saving.
Semi-finished products, by-products, wastes
Hydra acts as a standardizer: it deals with examining that the production process always transforms the raw material in the same way, producing by-products, semi-finished products and waste always in the same way. In this way there will be no drifts in the production process, raw materials will not be wasted and energy consumption will be decreased.
By decreasing the drifts of the production process there is a lower consumption of raw materials and energy. The finished product will always comply with the highest company standards, free from allergens and pesticides.
Hydra can be installed online to control the status of the production process, identifying wrong machine settings or external agents that can cause an out-of-standard production. Thanks to its innovative technology, Hydra can also intervene in the production process, modifying the wrong settings by adjusting them on the standards imposed by the plant (for example, the amount of proteins of the final products). This allows the plant to always produce a high quality product, increasing food safety and stabilizing its production process.
